Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Neni's Itinerary is the public marketing site for a Puerto Vallarta trip-planning and private tour-guide service. This policy explains what this site does and does not do with your information. It covers this marketing site only.

This site is deliberately lightweight: it has no contact form, no sign-in, and no account. It does not ask you for your name, email, or phone number. The sections below describe the small amount of information the site actually handles.

2. Information this site handles

Because there is no form and no account on this site, we do not collect personal details like your name, email, or phone number here. What the site does handle is limited to:

• Campaign attribution (UTM) parameters: if you arrive from an ad or a shared link that carries utm_* tags, the site stores them in your browser's sessionStorage and appends them to the "Plan your trip" links so the planner knows which campaign brought you in. These stay in your browser and clear when you close the tab.
• A language preference: when you choose English or Español, that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It is stored only on your device.
• Analytics (only if enabled): the site can load Google Analytics, but only when an analytics ID is configured. It is currently not enabled, so no analytics are collected. See "Analytics" below.
• Standard server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records routine technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site.

3. Analytics

The site is built to support Google Analytics, but it only runs when an analytics measurement ID is configured for the deployment. When it is not configured — which is the case now — no analytics script loads and no analytics data is collected.

If analytics is enabled in the future, Google Analytics would set its own cookies and process usage data under Google's privacy terms. We would update this policy before turning it on.

4. Cookies & local storage

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. It uses your browser's sessionStorage and localStorage for the campaign-attribution and language-preference purposes described above. Any analytics cookies would only exist if analytics is enabled.

5. WhatsApp

The "Chat on WhatsApp" links open WhatsApp with a short pre-filled message so you can reach Neni. The marketing site itself does not collect or receive anything when you use these links — the conversation happens inside WhatsApp. Once you're in WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy terms apply.

6. Planning, booking & payment happen in the portal

Actually planning a trip, building an itinerary, booking the guide, paying, and creating an account all happen in the separate Neni's portal and its backend — not on this marketing site. Any personal or payment information you provide there is handled and governed by that portal's own privacy terms, not by this policy.

7. Third-party services

The site relies on a few third parties to function. Each has its own privacy terms:

• Our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps routine request logs.
• Google Analytics, if and when analytics is enabled.
• WhatsApp and Instagram, when you follow those links off-site.

8. Your choices

You can browse this entire site without providing any personal information. You can clear the site's sessionStorage and localStorage at any time from your browser settings, and you can use browser or extension controls to limit analytics should it ever be enabled.

9. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, if analytics is enabled. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above.
